Description

Are you a skilled and experienced Senior QA Engineering professional with a strong understanding of black and grey box testing? Do you have both Manual and Automation testing experience? This position is 100% on-site at our Las Vegas offices and lab.

What Will You Be Doing?
  • Create and execute test plans based on provided specs, historical data, and your QA expertise.
  • Drive test strategy, planning, execution, troubleshooting, and analysis of a complex interconnected product ecosystem.
  • Explore software automation solutions and potentially automate peripheral processes for testing purposes.
  • Digest and demonstrate a broad knowledge of our interconnected products and their use in the field.
  • Digest and demonstrate a broad knowledge of our tools, hardware, proprietary software, dependencies, and limitations.
  • Configure varied product environments, with hardware and software combinations.
  • Represent our delivery QA team in development groups with whom you'll be directly working.
  • Provide field testing of bugs and features including troubleshooting, defect identification, and validation.
  • Recommend and implement strategies to advance work items through the project delivery cycle.


Skills, Knowledge, & Expertise for the job:
  • Expertise in black/grey/white box testing of gaming, fintech, or banking/payment products.
  • 5+ years' experience in a quality assurance or software development role; industry experience preferred. This is a senior role.
  • Experience using quality management tools.
  • Experience with project management tools and methodologies. (Agile Scrum a plus).
  • Ability to identify and readily communicate roadblocks and risks and develop solutions.
  • Ability to communicate accurate and timely status reports and test results.
  • Ability to document results, findings, instruction sets, and processes.
  • Ability to communicate with cross-departmental internal teams and stakeholders.
  • Experience with testing automation and tools.
  • Experience with compliance and change processes required by regulatory entities, providing documented evidence of testing and results.
  • Demonstrate ability to work autonomously (with readily available team guidance and regular syncs).
  • Demonstrate ability to take ownership - to have an impassioned stance in your duties, tools, automation, processes, new ideas, technology, and to clearly communicate all aspects to your teammates.
  • Proven ability to independently validate product quality.

Nice to have's:
  • Experience with complex interconnected systems.
  • Experience performing code reviews and regression analysis.
  • HTML5 testing experience.
  • Agile Scrum certification.

The compensation for this role considers a wide range of factors, including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential for the location at which the position may ultimately be filled. At Everi, it is not typical for all individuals to be hired at or near the end of the range; compensation decisions depend on each case's facts and circumstances. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $80,000 - $ 90,000 annually.
