The successful candidate will specialize in diagnosing, treating, and managing children with respiratory and lung-related disorders, including asthma, cystic fibrosis, chronic lung disease, and sleep-disordered breathing. This role involves working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to provide exceptional care to pediatric patients from infancy through adolescence, while also contributing to family education and clinical research.

1. Knowledge of Audiology principles and procedures.
2. Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
3. Good communication and interpersonal skills in view of frequent interaction with patients, staff and visitors.
4. Good problem-solving ability to in order to determine the best methods to address patient problems.
Required Experience
Qualifications
- Medical Degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution.
- Completion of a Pediatric Residency and a Pediatric Pulmonology Fellowship.
- Board certification or eligibility in Pediatric Pulmonology.
- Valid medical license to practice in [Texas/New Mexico].
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with children, families, and healthcare teams.
- Proficiency in performing and interpreting diagnostic procedures specific to pediatric respiratory care.
- Commitment to patient-centered care and evidence-based practice.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in managing pediatric sleep disorders or performing sleep studies.
- Prior research experience or publications in pediatric pulmonology.
- Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems.
