The Director of Marketing and Employee Engagement is a key member of the agency's senior leadership team, responsible for driving agency branding, communication, employee engagement, and marketing efforts. This individual will serve as a strategic partner to the executive team, lead agency marketing and branding initiatives, and oversee internal and external communications to enhance the agency's reputation in the marketplace and its culture internally.
With exposure to highly confidential information and regular collaboration with the executive team, this role requires the utmost professional maturity, discretion, and strategic thinking.

This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on relevant experience, other job-related qualifications/skills, and geographic location (to account for comparative cost of living). The Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. For this role, benefits include: health insurance, vision insurance, dental insurance, 401(k), Healthcare Flexible Spending Account, Dependent Care Flexible Spending Account, vacation days, sick days, personal days, paid parental leave, paid medical leave, and STD/LTD insurance benefits.
Compensation Range
$100,000-$160,000 USD
This role is hybrid, requiring three (3) days per week in the office. The remaining two (2) days may be worked remotely. Specific in-office days will be discussed during the interview process, with flexibility to align with team needs. Please note that the number or required in-office days may be adjusted over time, potentially increasing the number of required in-office days based on business needs.

Agency Marketing and Branding
- Develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies to strengthen the agency's market presence, including award submissions, industry event participation, and digital platform management
- Ensure consistency and alignment of the agency's narrative, branding, and positioning across all internal and external touchpoints, in partnership with Omnicom Media Group (OMG) and PHD Global teams
- Collaborate with OMG PR to secure placements in industry publications, promote thought leadership, and enhance the agency's visibility
Executive Partnership and Strategic Initiatives
- Act as a trusted advisor to the executive team, leading cross-functional projects and aligning priorities to the agency's vision and goals
- Support strategic initiatives, including the adoption of OMG and PHD Global programs (e.g., branding updates, RTO efforts, award programs)
- Manage high-priority agency projects, such as senior client meeting presentations, agency development plans, financial plans, and integration of shared learnings across teams
Employee Engagement and Development
- Design and oversee internal communication strategies to ensure clarity, alignment, and engagement among employees, reflecting OMG and PHD Global priorities
- Enhance the employee experience by optimizing tools and systems (e.g., dashboards, intranets) and fostering a positive and inclusive agency culture
- Partner with HR and Talent teams to support training, development programs, and initiatives that strengthen employee engagement and retention
New Business Support
- Collaborate with OMG Brand and Growth Teams on pitches, new business opportunities, and marketing efforts to drive revenue growth and deepen client relationships
- Oversee the development of marketing materials, presentations, and thought leadership assets for client engagements
Agency Events
- Lead the planning and execution of agency events, both internal and external, to promote collaboration, culture, and brand visibility
- Partner with industry organizations and media partners to identify opportunities for agency participation and leadership
Success Metrics
- Consistent deployment and adoption of updated PHD branding across the agency
- Increased exposure in industry publications and thought leadership platforms
- Positive trends in employee engagement metrics and retention rates
- Growth in new business wins and organic client growth
- Elevated perception of the agency's culture and client experience
Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in a marketing, communications, or employee engagement role, preferably in an agency or large corporate environment
- Proven expertise in agency marketing, branding, and communications strategy
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to influence, collaborate, and manage multiple stakeholders
- Exceptional project management and organizational skills, with a focus on execution and follow-through
- Experience planning and executing high-impact events and initiatives
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and other relevant tools to support communication, organization, and collaboration
- Professional maturity, discretion, and the ability to handle confidential information with integrity
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a keen ability to craft compelling narratives
- Passion for fostering a positive and inclusive workplace culture
- A strong interest in technology and innovation, with the ability to bring forward-thinking ideas to enhance communication, marketing, and employee engagement initiatives.
