Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Financial Analyst to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for analyzing financial data, preparing reports, and providing insights to support decision-making processes. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with various departments.
What you'll do:
Analyze financial data and create financial models for decision support and transactions
Maintain models and model libraries. Ensure processes for updating and tracking are created and followed
Aid in the modeling for debt and ITC sale transactions
Assist in transaction due diligence where relevant
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
Monitor and report on financial performance by comparing actual results with forecasts and budgets.
Conduct variance analysis to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts.
Provide financial insights and recommendations to management.
Collaborate with other departments to gather and analyze relevant financial information.
Support the development and implementation of financial policies and procedures.
Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards.
Other duties as assigned
What you'll need:
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
Proven experience as a Financial Analyst or similar role.
Strong proficiency in financial modeling, forecasting, and analysis.
Advanced knowledge of Excel and financial software applications.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Bonus Points!!
Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
Knowledge of Excel macros and VBA
Experience with ERP systems and financial reporting tools.
