This remote opportunity allows you to reside in your current location and travel to established and new clients nationwide, primarily within the United States, with a focus on the Southeast region.

Travel is expected to range from 5-25%, equating to approximately 2-3 business day trips, 1-2 times per month.

Focus of the Role:

This position focuses on developing fire protection engineering solutions and initiatives that support various clients and industries (commercial, residential, industrial, & more), primarily within the design and construction phases of projects. You'll evaluate clients' needs acting as a point of contact, develop solutions using computer fire modeling, research and ensure compliance with relevant codes and regulations (NFPA), review equipment sizing/P&IDs and selection, perform hazard analyses and risk assessments, and complete technical reporting.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relatable Engineering field with 4+ years of relevant fire protection engineering experience - ideally in the design space.
  • Professional Engineering (PE) License or potential to obtain one in the future.
