The IT Network Specialist provides a variety of technical/operational support of technology-related hardware, software, and networking systems to ensure the stability, security, and optimization of voice, data, video, and wireless network systems.
Minimum requirements-a valid driver's license with driving record acceptable to the city; Associate's degree in computer science, information systems, or related field; 4 years of related experience with Microsoft Windows desktops, Microsoft Server, and networks OR 5 years of related work experience with Microsoft Windows desktops, Microsoft Server, and networks; demonstrated ability to troubleshoot, repair, replace, and install computer related equipment; ability to pass criminal history background investigation; CJIS Security Awareness Level 4 Certificate or ability to obtain within 6 months of hire.
Normal working hours are 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday-Friday. Hours outside of these required to fulfill on-call requirements.
