The Senior Data Warehouse Analyst at Berkadia will play a crucial role with high visibility among internal and external clients, primarily through the creation and delivery of detailed reports. The Senior Data Warehouse Analyst will serve as an expert in Cognos, our internal reporting system, providing specialized assistance to both our internal servicing teams and corporate departments. This role involves not only developing and refining reports but also ensuring their accuracy and timely distribution to meet the strategic needs of the organization.

The Senior Data Warehouse Analyst at Berkadia will play a crucial role with high visibility among internal and external clients, primarily through the creation and delivery of detailed reports. The Senior Data Warehouse Analyst will serve as an expert in Cognos, our internal reporting system, providing specialized assistance to both our internal servicing teams and corporate departments. This role involves not only developing and refining reports but also ensuring their accuracy and timely distribution to meet the strategic needs of the organization.
We are committed to growing your career, so in this role you will:
- Provide analytical support and develop reporting solutions for the Loan Servicing department.
- Utilize a variety of tools including BI, SQL, Excel, and Access to fulfill operational and managerial requirements.
- Identify and resolve issues related to complex reports, databases, and report scheduling.
- Develop, refine, and maintain queries in SQL Server.
- Oversee the distribution of scheduled reports to both external and internal stakeholders.
- Ensure adherence to Berkadia and Private Label branding on designated reports and communications.
- Create and distribute advanced reports for Senior Management and Rating Agencies on a recurring monthly basis.
- Other duties as assigned.
We are passionate about your growth, so to achieve success in this role you should have:
- Possess advanced report development skills, capable of creating various types of reports such as list, summary, cross-tab, charts, and free-form reports like forms and letters; proficiency in Microsoft products including Excel, Access, and Word is essential.
- Experienced in report schedule management, with a deep understanding of relational databases and SQL, particularly with Microsoft SQL Server and SQL Server Management Studio.
- Strong analytical skills with experience in report data modeling, user testing, and quality assurance; knowledge of Loan Servicing/Financial data and systems, especially McCracken's Strategy Commercial Loan Servicing system, is highly beneficial.
- Excellent communication and time management skills, with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent
- 3+ years of experience in a similar position
