Your CareerReporting to the Senior Manager of Business Continuity, the Business Resilience Manager will work cross-functionally as a trusted business partner and administer key aspects of the global business continuity program. This position sits within the Global Risk & Resilience (GR&R) Organization and partners strategically with core stakeholders across the company to increase business understanding and enhance business resilience.

Responsible for facilitation and coordination of Palo Alto Networks Business Continuity program, the role will require strong collaboration with a wide-variety of cross-functional business partners. Emphasis will be placed on relationship development and confidence working with individuals at all levels of the organization.

Responsibilities:
  • Support and operationalize Business Continuity (BC)
    • Lead the development and maintenance of BC plans in partnership with key stakeholders, including the development of continuity strategies
    • Incorporate BC considerations in critical third-party relationships
    • Support coordination of third-party due diligence activities
    • Assist in the development and execution of BC exercises
    • Develop and facilitate BC training
    • Maintain metrics and regular reports associated with plan reviews, exercises, incidents, and risks identified
  • Lead BC efforts for an evergreen business impact analysis (BIA)
    • Facilitate BIAs with a wide range business and technology stakeholders
    • Determine criticality and prioritization of business processes enabling RTOs and RPOs
    • Map interdependencies between and within business areas
    • Able to present BIA results to senior leaders and provide recommendations on recovery priorities and solutions
  • Support Global Risk & Resilience organization and initiatives
    • Support incident/crisis management activities and response as required
    • Ensure lessons learned in exercises are incorporated into the GR&R risk register where appropriate
    • Manage special projects as required
    • Conduct diligence reviews of BC controls for critical third-party suppliers

Qualifications:
  • Experience in business continuity and/or project management/audit - preferably in a technology/SaaS environment
  • Proficient in building effective working relationships
  • Highly efficient in project management
  • Excellent organization and time management skills; highly effective in setting priorities
  • Willing to travel approximately 5%-10%
  • Experience with Fusion RM or Salesforce preferred
  • Familiarity with ISO 22301 and the BCI/DRI's industry guidelines, etc. preferred
  • ABCP, CBCP, AMBCI or MBCI certified preferred
