What We Need:

The Director, Digital Transformation is a visionary leader who will spearhead the integration of AI and automation into the business processes throughout our entire organization. The Director of Digital Transformation will lead the company's efforts to innovate and optimize our operations through the strategic implementation of AI and automation technologies. This role is crucial for enhancing efficiency, scalability, and customer satisfaction across our advisory services, billing and contact center operations. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of digital transformation strategies, process improvement, and a passion for innovation with a proven track record of driving technological change in similar environments.

What You'll Do:

Major Responsibilities:
  • Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute a comprehensive digital transformation strategy focused on the integration of AI and automation across all business units.
  • AI and Automation Integration: Identify, evaluate, and implement AI and automation solutions to streamline operations, improve service delivery, and enhance customer experiences.
  • Technology Roadmap: Create and manage a technology roadmap that aligns with the company's strategic goals, ensuring that digital transformation initiatives are prioritized and effectively executed.
  • Process Optimization: Analyze existing business processes and workflows to identify opportunities for improvement and automation, driving efficiencies and reducing operational costs.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with leadership, IT, operations, and other key stakeholders to ensure alignment and successful implementation of digital transformation initiatives.
  • Change Management: Lead change management efforts to ensure smooth transitions to new technologies and processes, including training and support for staff.
  • Vendor Management: Manage relationships with technology vendors and partners to ensure the successful deployment and integration of digital solutions.
  • Performance Monitoring: Establish metrics and KPIs to measure the impact and success of digital transformation initiatives, and provide regular updates to the executive team.
  • Innovation and Trends: Stay up to date on emerging technologies and industry trends to continuously identify new opportunities for digital innovation.
  • Security: Act as the Company's Security Officer by ensuring the highest levels of security are in place across the organization and resolve emerging vulnerabilities and security threats.
  • Develop and manage solutions for disaster recovery and collaborate with internal stakeholders in creating solution designs for a variety of complex business issues.
  • Provide people leadership and direction through coaching, development, performance management and resource planning.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated experience in managing large-scale projects, with a track record of successful implementation and delivery.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to think creatively and drive innovative solutions.
  • Strong strategic and analytical skills, with the ability to develop and execute long-term plans.
  • Advanced ability to learn quickly, work outside core expertise and pivot quickly when change is required
  • Advanced MS Office skills

Knowledge/Education
  • In-depth knowledge of AI, machine learning, automation technologies, and their applications in business processes.
  • Advanced knowledge of Agile and Azure DevOps
  • Proven ability to lead and inspire cross-functional teams, drive change, and achieve results in a fast-paced environment.

Experience
  • Bachelor of Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master's degree or relevant certifications in AI, automation, or digital transformation is preferred.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in digital transformation, IT, or a related field, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
  • 7+ years' experience working with Utility Sector business systems (CIS, MDM, ERP, GIS or AMI)
