What You Will Be Doing:
As a Public Health Nurse 3, you will provide expert-level nursing services focused on disease prevention and health promotion in rural communities. This role allows you to apply your nursing skills to impact the health of individuals and families while collaborating with community partners. You'll work itinerantly across various locations, including Tok, Northway, and Tetlin, delivering essential public health services. Sharp Program Eligibility:
The successful candidate may be eligible for a $60,000 incentive award through the Alaska SHARP 3 program. If selected, the applicant will enter into a contract with the State of Alaska, agreeing to live and work in Tok for three years. SHARP participants can choose quarterly student loan repayments or direct payments for the duration of the contract in addition to their base salary. Most applicants who apply are eligible.
