We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Sourcing & Procurement Manager to establish and optimize our procurement processes, with a primary focus on the Source to Contract phase of the procurement cycle. This is a newly created individual contributor role that offers the unique opportunity to shape this strategic function from the ground up within a high-growth global software company.
The role will be responsible for overseeing all sourcing and procurement activities, including supplier selection, contract negotiations, vendor management, and policy development. This position requires close collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure cost-effective, high-quality, and timely delivery of goods and services. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in strategic sourcing, contract negotiation, and procurement-preferably within the technology or SaaS industry. They will leverage expertise in analytics, supplier management, and negotiation to drive cost savings and operational efficiencies while building and maintaining key supplier relationships.
This is a full-time, remote-first (WFH) position based out of our Toronto office. While the role requires at least one in-office visit per month, along with attendance at necessary team meetings, you are encouraged to come in more frequently as your schedule permits.

What You'll Do:
- Lead and optimize the Source to Contract process, including supplier selection, RFPs/RFIs, contract negotiations, and supplier performance management.
- Develop and execute strategic sourcing initiatives to drive cost savings, mitigate risks, and enhance supplier value.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand business needs, define sourcing strategies, and support contract execution.
- Negotiate commercial terms and conditions with suppliers, ensuring alignment with business objectives and compliance requirements.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers to drive continuous improvement, innovation, and value creation.
- Partner with legal, finance, and operations teams to ensure contracts align with company policies and regulatory requirements.
- Monitor market trends and industry best practices to drive procurement excellence and supplier innovation.
- Develop and maintain key performance metrics to assess procurement effectiveness and supplier performance.
- Stay informed on internal and external factors impacting procurement functions.
- Conduct market research and supplier analysis to source best-fit products and services in alignment with corporate objectives.
- Develop and enforce procurement policies and procedures to standardize practices across the organization.
- Prepare regular reports on procurement metrics and performance, providing actionable insights to senior management.
- Lead initiatives to digitalize and automate procurement processes where possible.
What You'll Bring:
- Post-secondary education in Business, Finance, Engineering, or Supply Chain Management.
- 8-10 years of experience in sourcing, procurement, supply chain management, vendor management, or a similar role.
- Strong track record of acting as a business partner to department managers, with exceptional communication skills to engage effectively across all levels of the organization and with external stakeholders.
- Proven negotiation skills with demonstrated success in achieving favorable outcomes.
- Strong financial modeling skills, with experience creating cost-saving simulations to drive data-driven decision-making.
- Experience with enterprise procurement software and third-party risk management systems (e.g., NetSuite, OneTrust).
- Experience managing low-risk contract legal reviews and proposing redlines in consultation with internal legal teams, balancing legal, financial, and enterprise risks.
- Experience in a global procurement role or working with international vendors.
- Familiarity with procurement in the technology or SaaS industry.
- Knowledge of sustainability practices and corporate social responsibility in procurement.
