We are seeking a Senior Business Planning Analyst who enjoys working as a member of a cross functional team to solve problems and improve performance. This position will be a member of the Trystar finance team and will work with other parts of the organization and team members to maximize success for Trystar and our customers.

Reporting to the Supply, Inventory, and Operations Planning (SIOP) Director, the Senior Business Planning Analyst is responsible for facilitating the business planning process across the organization. In this role, the Senior Business Planning Analyst will set up, shape, and drive the business planning capability for the organization and drive organizational alignment to the strategic priorities. This position will ensure consistent use of data & processes across the various businesses and work to continuously improve the accuracy and quality of inputs and outputs. The Senior Business Planning Analyst will own monthly demand plan, arbitrate on tradeoff choices in capacity planning, and monitor KPIs to drive improvements to the demand planning process.

In this role you will get to:
  • Lead enterprise-wide demand planning activities with executives and other key stakeholders
  • Partner with Commercial, Finance, and Supply Chain partners to arrive at consensus demand forecasts at an actionable level of granularity for use in supply planning process, ensuring demand is handed off in a manner that supports operational capacity and component availability (i.e. product hierarchy, SKU, & customer level details)
  • Conduct in-depth analyses of demand with inputs from partner teams using statistical methods, industry trends, customer forecasts, and market assumptions
  • Drive efforts to advance planning capabilities, including identifying and implementing systematic improvements and developing best practices for demand planning in a custom solution environment
  • Partner with Commercial and Supply Chain teams to develop inventory management strategies, focusing on targeted finished goods to meet customer demands
  • Incorporate new offering introduction and product lifecycle management decisions into demand and supply plans, coordinating ramp up / down plans
  • Serve as central point of escalation for managing demand when faced with trade-offs on what orders to fulfill (e.g., due to inventory, labor constraints)
  • Proactively monitor KPIs across the SIOP process to identify issues and drive improvements to the demand planning process and escalate as needed

Job Requirements:

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Bachelor's degree with a concentration in Finance, Supply Chain, Business Management, or other quantitative fields
  • Minimum of 5years of experience in demand or supply planning, financial forecasting, supply chain management, or other planning roles
  • Excellent analytical skills, with a strong focus on managing, manipulating, and presenting large data sets
  • Proficient use of financial systems and Microsoft Office tools, including advanced proficiency in Excel

ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Experience with ERP and other demand planning systems, with Epicor being a plus
  • Experience with data visualization tools, a plus (Power BI, Tableau, etc.)
  • Experience with SIOP process and end-to-end supply planning and optimization knowledge is strongly preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to document, streamline, and automate complex processes
  • Excellent communication skills, with a bias towards collaboration and teamwork
  • Positive attitude, adept at problem solving
  • Demonstrated leadership qualities in cross-functional settings to drive differentiated results
  • Willingness and ability to travel 10%
