Position Highlights:
- Schedule: Flexible 4/10 or 5/8 shifts, based on departmental needs.
- Weekend Coverage: Inpatient rounding, first-contact text messages, and hospital coverage (one weekend every six weeks).
- Patient Load:
- Inpatient rounding: 2-12 patients per day
- Clinic days: 2-5 per week (varies based on case load and coverage needs)
- OR cases: 1-6 per day
- Team Structure: Work closely with three neurosurgeons, providing support in the clinic, OR, and hospital settings.
- Call & Coverage Expectations:
- Equitable participation in rounding, messaging, and call responsibilities with the APP and provider team.
- Flexibility to assist in surgery on other days as needed, including covering for APP vacation or illness.
Qualifications:
- Ability to obtain a Washington State medical professional license and DEA with full prescriptive authority.
- New graduates are encouraged to apply!
- Nurse Practitioners must have or be willing to obtain Certified Surgical First Assist (CSFA) certification.
Compensation & Benefits:
- Competitive salary: Average of $150,000/year before bonuses.
