Position: Neurosurgery PA/NP

Seeking a full-time permanent Neurosurgery Advanced Practice Provider (APP) to join dynamic and patient-centered team. This role offers the opportunity to work alongside three experienced neurosurgeons in a highly engaged and supportive environment. Many team members have been with the group for years, reflecting their strong culture of collaboration and professional growth.

Position Highlights:

• Schedule: Flexible 4/10 or 5/8 shifts, based on departmental needs.
• Weekend Coverage: Inpatient rounding, first-contact text messages, and hospital coverage (one weekend every six weeks).
• Patient Load:
• Inpatient rounding: 2-12 patients per day
• Clinic days: 2-5 per week (varies based on case load and coverage needs)
• OR cases: 1-6 per day
• Team Structure: Work closely with three neurosurgeons, providing support in the clinic, OR, and hospital settings.
• Call & Coverage Expectations:
• Equitable participation in rounding, messaging, and call responsibilities with the APP and provider team.
• Flexibility to assist in surgery on other days as needed, including covering for APP vacation or illness.

Qualifications:

• Ability to obtain a Washington State medical professional license and DEA with full prescriptive authority.
• New graduates are encouraged to apply!
• Nurse Practitioners must have or be willing to obtain Certified Surgical First Assist (CSFA) certification.

Compensation & Benefits:

• Competitive salary: Average of $150,000/year before bonuses.
