Participates in the overall management of a single section of an office responsible for facilities improvement, property management, capital projects, and facilities services planning; leads in the planning, organizing, supervising, and evaluating the activities, program functions, personnel, physical, and fiscal resources of the assigned office; assists with strategic planning and goals.

Qualifications
Required
- Any combination of education and experience equivalent to a bachelor's degree in architecture, engineering, business administration, or a related field.
- Five (5) years of experience in construction design, construction operations, or a related fieldt, some of which shall have been in a supervisory or leadership role.
- Advanced degree(s) beyond the minimum degree requirement in a relevant field may be considered for some experience.
- Knowledge of principles, practices, and procedures related to staff management, architectural design, and/or administration in the assigned office.
- Familiarity with applicable local, county, and state regulations, laws, and policies.
- Ability to organize, direct, and coordinate the activities of one or more operational sections.
- Ability to develop short-, medium- and long-term plans and programs.
- Ability to facilitate meetings and/or present information to groups.
- Ability to make major decisions on complex technical and administrative matters.
- Proficiency in the use of technology and data compilation, analysis, and reporting.
- Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
