JOB SUMMARY:

This position directly manages a team of 6 operational staff and is an excellent fit for self-motivated critical thinkers. If you enjoy working with teams, data and problem solving, this may be the position for you. Your duties would include:

  • Directing team members in the operational analysis of region, service site and individual work unit performance.
  • Assisting team members and management with identifying areas in need of improvement, identifying root causes of performance issues, developing performance improvement plans and implementing those plans.
  • Leading the development of operational plans to direct operational focus of the service center, service sites and/or individual work units in support of the Program's strategic initiatives.
  • Initiating, developing, and implementing projects with the potential for region wide and statewide impact.
  • Overseeing the responsibilities of the monitors to ensure monitoring plans are developed and accomplished.
  • Assisting with analysis of monitoring results and incorporating monitoring results into operational plans.
  • Performing workflow analyses to identify and implement changes leading to improved business process efficiency.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
  • Currently employed with the Florida Department of Revenue.
  • Two (2) years of experience in supervising team members or planning, directing, and coordinating work of team members.
  • Two (2) years of experience communicating with and presenting information to internal and external customers verbally and in writing.
  • Two (2) years of experience planning and evaluating program or operations processes, resolving identified productivity and quality concerns, and/or implementing process improvements.

PREFERENCES:
  • Five (5) years of experience working in the Child Support Program.

SPECIAL NOTES:
  • This role is eligible for part-time telework after you complete required training and reach an acceptable level of proficiency.

SALARY: $63,990.48 - $132,025.08.
