Compensation: 115,00 -145,000/year (based on experience) + 15% Annual Bonus (performance-based)

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Director of Emergency Services to lead a high-performing Emergency Department (ED) team in Tallahassee, FL. This role is pivotal in driving service excellence, growth, personnel management, and resource allocation to ensure exceptional patient care. The ideal candidate has a proven track record of improving metrics, processes, and patient experience in a large acute care Emergency Department.

Key Responsibilities:

• Leadership: Oversee the Emergency Department, ensuring quality patient care and operational excellence.
• Staff Development: Mentor and coach staff, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and professional growth.
• Performance Improvement: Develop and evaluate emergency services programs, monitor regulatory compliance, and lead quality initiatives.
• Patient Experience: Advance the department's patient experience agenda through patient and employee rounding.
• Operational Management: Identify and implement solutions for departmental challenges, manage resources efficiently, and enforce care standards.
• Collaboration: Build strong relationships with leadership, staff, and stakeholders to achieve organizational goals.

Qualifications:

• Experience:
  
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of recent experience as a Director in a large acute care Emergency Department.
  • Proven track record of improving metrics, mentoring staff, and achieving operational goals.
• Education:
  
  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing required.
  • Master's degree in Nursing, Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or related field preferred.
• Licensure/Certification:
  
  • Active RN license or eligibility in Florida.
  • BLS, ACLS, and PALS/ENPC certifications required.

Emergency Department Details:

• Size: 34 beds.
• Daily Volume: 130 patients/day.
• Team Size: Approximately 45 FTEs.
• Trauma Level: Non-trauma facility.
