Description:
Location: Austin, TX - onsite 5 days/week + some on-call 2x/mo.
- Ensure compliance with security policies and procedures, adhering to local, ITIL, and NIST security standards.
- Administer and architect end-to-end solutions, including networks, broadband, security systems, virtualization platforms, Astro P25 RF system, radio programming applications, and SQL database optimization.
- Ensure solutions are compliant with Federal, State, and local radio communications interoperability coordination.
- Troubleshoot advanced systems, topologies, and storage while supporting critical customers in a utility environment.
- Provide project oversight and risk management to identify potential risks and vulnerabilities, offering infrastructure planning and design input.
- Offer leadership and guidance to junior team members through motivational and collaborative skills.

Required Skills & Experience
Experience designing a complex solution that adheres to local IT architecture guidelines (ITIL, NIST, CISA), firewall policies, and network diversity
Professional experience administering and architecting end-to-end solutions for high availability communication systems, including enterprise and broadband networks, budget, ISP connectivity, radio frequency (RF) networks, security systems, virtualization platforms, Astro P25 RF system, radio programming applications, and SQL database optimization
Familiarity with Federal, State, and local radio communications interoperability coordination.
Experience troubleshooting advanced systems, topologies, and storage while supporting critical customers in a utility environment
Working experience providing project oversight and risk management to identify potential risks and vulnerabilities, offering infrastructure planning and design input
Experience designing solutions for a scalable and highly available environment across multiple data centers and customer sites in a large enterprise
Professional experience collaborating with vendors and ISPs
