Job Title: Physical Therapist
Job Specialty: Inpatient Rehabilitation
Job Duration: 13 weeks
Shift: Day 5x8-Hour (08:00 - 17:00)
Guaranteed Hours: Yes, 40 hours per week
Experience: 2+ years preferred; will consider candidates with 1 year if screened by the manager
License: State License or Compact License required
Certifications: BLS required, ACLS preferred
Must-Have: Finalized RTO sent at time of submission. No RTO within first two weeks of start date, no more than 10 days. No full calendar weeks of RTO accepted. Must have state/compact license in hand. Two supervisor references obtained within the last 18 months are required. Paragon and Practice Partner experience preferred.
Job Description:
- Provide therapy services by floating between two outpatient clinics located 15 minutes from each other.
- Work in an acute care hospital setting with 49 staffed beds.
- Likely cover inpatient on a rotating weekend schedule, working once every two months.
- Clinician may float within the scope to meet facility needs; travel between sister facilities is reimbursed by the facility.
- Orientation is required; no set hours for orientation.
- Required to wear scrubs of any color.
- Charting systems include OBix and McKesson, Pyxis, and SBAR.
- Flu vaccine is required with no exemptions allowed. COVID-19 vaccine is not required.
- The position follows a Monday-Friday schedule. Not open to accommodating block schedule.
