Guidewire is looking for an experienced product manager to drive the evolution of how applications and solutions are packaged, distributed, and managed across the Guidewire ecosystem. This role is critical in ensuring that developers, ISVs, and enterprise customers can efficiently bundle and deploy applications on the Guidewire Platform.
You will work at the intersection of product, engineering, and go-to-market teams to define a packaging strategy that enhances developer productivity, improves software distribution, and aligns with Guidewire's long-term vision for platform extensibility.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $160,000 - $272,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Job Description
Key Responsibilities
- Define and execute the product vision for packaging solutions that support ISVs, system integrators, and enterprise customers.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, UX, marketing, and sales, to deliver intuitive and scalable packaging solutions.
- Understand customer needs by gathering feedback, analyzing usage data, and engaging with internal and external stakeholders.
- Develop and maintain the product roadmap, ensuring alignment with Guidewire's overall platform strategy.
- Drive the adoption of packaging best practices, helping customers manage versioning, dependencies, and seamless upgrades.
- Evangelize packaging innovations by working with developer communities, partners, and internal teams.
- Ensure security, compliance, and scalability in all packaging solutions to maintain Guidewire's trusted cloud reputation.
Required Skills & Experience
- Strong technical background with an understanding of software packaging, versioning, and deployment strategies.
- Experience working with developers, ISVs, or enterprise customers to drive platform adoption.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills and a data-driven approach to decision-making.
- Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Experience with Agile development methodologies and familiarity with tools like JIRA, Aha!, or similar.
- Hands-on experience with packaging solutions in cloud-based environments (e.g., containerization, microservices, modular architectures).
- A sense of humor.
