Job Description
The Department of Management (DOM), Division of Information Technology (DoIT) is seeking an Information Technology Specialist 5 - IT Training Program Coordinator to join our team!
This position will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and enhancing the Information Technology Service Management (ITSM) training program. This role will be pivotal in ensuring the creation of engaging and accessible training materials for all staff across State agencies, leveraging various content formats and outreach channels.
As the IT Training Program Coordinator, you will work closely with DoIT leadership, agency stakeholders, and team members to ensure the effective delivery of ITSM training. You will also oversee the creation and maintenance of training materials, ensuring they meet the needs of all staff while adhering to established branding and best practices.

2) All of the following (a and b):
a. Key Responsibilities:
- Training Program Development - lead the development and continuous improvement of the ITSM training program to ensure it meets the evolving needs of state agency staff.
- Content Creation - design and deliver ITSM training content in a variety of formats, including live events, recorded videos, web-based materials, printable resources, and social outreach.
- Team Leadership - function as the fusion team leader, guiding other DoIT staff in the creation, delivery, and quality assurance of training materials. Ensure consistency in branding, format, and tone across all materials.
- Collaboration - work closely with ITSM team leaders, DoIT leadership, and agency leaders to identify training needs and ensure content is aligned with organizational goals.
- Feature Coordination - ensure that new features and functions in the ITSM platform are supported with timely and accurate training materials.
- Metrics and Effectiveness - establish a program for measuring the effectiveness of training through feedback surveys, participant tracking, and executive summaries.
- Knowledge Management - coordinate with the ITSM Knowledge Management lead to keep content up-to-date and accessible.
- Cross-Department Collaboration - partner with HR to develop targeted training for staff and managers on Service Management processes. Coordinate content deployment to the enterprise Learning Management System (LMS).
- Strategic Leadership - advise on new ITSM opportunities, emerging trends, and best practices to drive continual improvement in service delivery.
- Compliance and Engagement - participate in all required DOM DoIT team meetings and training, keeping current with technology advancements.
