What You'll Be Doing:
This position provides strategic leadership and oversight for complex IT projects, ensuring alignment with the company's business objectives. The Senior IT Project Manager is responsible for the full lifecycle of multiple high-impact projects, from initiation to closure, and plays a key role in driving innovation and efficiency within the IT department and across the organization.
What You'll Need to Thrive:
Salary: $113,446 - 155,988 / year; in addition to base salary, a discretionary annual bonus is provided.
The successful candidate's starting pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, and qualifications.
PHYSICAL AND VISUAL ACTIVITIES:
Ability to hear and speak well enough to converse verbally over the phone and in-person (expressing or exchanging ideas by means of the spoken or written word). Ability to interpret, evaluate and communicate detailed written or verbal instructions to others accurately and easily. Able to see well enough to use the computer effectively and read written communications. Ability to lift, push, pull or carry up to 15 pounds for the dissemination of documents, supplies, materials, etc. to various locations throughout the office/facility. May be required to climb stairs depending on the property structure.

What You'll Be Doing:
This position provides strategic leadership and oversight for complex IT projects, ensuring alignment with the company's business objectives. The Senior IT Project Manager is responsible for the full lifecycle of multiple high-impact projects, from initiation to closure, and plays a key role in driving innovation and efficiency within the IT department and across the organization.
- Provides strategic direction and leadership for large-scale, complex IT projects, with a focus on achieving business goals.
- Leads cross-functional teams in translating customer needs and technology directions into strategic definitions and programs, mentoring team members and maximizing their contributions.
- Collaborates with business leaders and stakeholders to define project milestones, ensuring alignment with business strategy and priorities.
- Oversees the development of comprehensive project plans, including scope, budget, schedule, and resource allocation, utilizing advanced project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, hybrid).
- Applies in-depth knowledge of the business and emerging technologies to evaluate possible solutions and drive innovative approaches.
- Takes ownership of project outcomes, proactively identifying and mitigating complex risks, and driving accountability across teams.
- Ensures project documentation (charter, plan, requirements, communication plans, etc.) is comprehensive, accurate, and accessible.
- Develops and tracks key project metrics to measure success, providing regular updates to senior leadership.
- Identifies and resolves complex project issues and challenges, escalating as needed.
- Contributes to the development and improvement of department and organizational project management practices, templates, policies, and tools.
- Transitions between independent work and collaborative teamwork, providing guidance and expertise to others.
- Challenges the status quo and drives continuous improvement in project delivery.
- Adapts to rapidly changing environments and priorities.
- Represents the Company in a professional manner at all times.
- Demonstrates flexibility in taking on additional responsibilities to support evolving business and IT priorities..
What You'll Need to Thrive:
- Bachelor's degree is required; Master's degree in IT, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
- Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in project management, business analysis, or product management, with at least 5 years managing complex IT projects.
- Expertise in managing projects using Agile (Scrum/Kanban), Waterfall, and hybrid methodologies, with the ability to select and implement the best approach for each project.
- Demonstrated experience in leading large-scale, strategic projects with significant impact on the organization.
- Proven ability to lead and influence cross-functional teams, building strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
- Strong business acumen and understanding of how IT projects support business objectives.
- Experience with Property Operations, Facilities Management, Real Estate, and Building Operating systems or intelligent buildings is preferred. Experience with real estate specific ERP systems, property management platforms (such as Yardi, RealPage, or MRI), IoT/smart building technology, or facilities management solutions is a plus.
- Ability to act independently, operate proactively, and have a passion and appreciation for the vision and mission of the company. Ability to exercise initiative, problem-solving and decision-making skills. Ability to adapt to constantly changing priorities in managing a wide range of projects. Must have the ability to manage workload, to develop efficient and effective processes that impact the entire organization, and to communicate with managers and staff at all levels of the organization.
- Extensive experience in project planning and management with the ability to manage numerous complex projects simultaneously. Demonstrated experience in delivering on commitments within budget. Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Demonstrate the ability to proactively prioritize needs and effectively manage resources.
