The Position
OPSWAT is seeking a seasoned Director of Salesforce Platform to enhance our Salesforce capabilities. We are looking for an individual ready to dive into both strategic and hands-on roles in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate has successfully navigated growth from $100 million to $500 million and is eager to embark on this thrilling journey once more. This leader will be responsible for developing a three-year vision and a quarterly roadmap for our Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and CPQ frameworks while collaborating with colleagues to enhance our tools and processes. The goal is to establish a top-tier go-to-market process within the cybersecurity sector.
Reporting to the Vice President of Revenue Operations, this individual should possess strong technical expertise in Salesforce and have a passion for mentoring and coaching team members.

We have a market-based pay structure that varies by location. The base pay for this position is dependent on location, as outlined below, as well as the candidate's knowledge, skills, and experience. In addition to base pay, this role is eligible for bonuses, benefits, and equity.
Base Pay Range: San Francisco Bay Area - $200,000 - $240,000.

What We Need From You
- 7 - 10 years of experience, with Salesforce Sales Cloud, CPQ, & Service Cloud, in a high-growth B2B SaaS or Cybersecurity environment.
- Advanced knowledge and experience integrating Salesforce with other applications via real time, batch synchs including: Boomi / NetSuite, Hubspot, Impartner, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, 6Sense, Clari, SalesLoft, ZoomInfo, PowerBI, CaptivateIQ.
- Prior experience as a Product Owner for Sales Cloud, CPQ, or Service Cloud is required. Prior experience managing Product Owners, Architects, BSA, & Admins is preferred.
- Able to create a multi-year vision or strategy to make Salesforce tools great and work closely with stakeholders on listening / requirement tours to identify and eliminate sales drag.
- Comfortable in a fast-paced environment managing across a global team.
- You have experience leading a team of Salesforce team across multiple locations (Tampa/San Francisco) and offshore (Vietnam) along with managing outsourced contractors/consultants. Ability to hire and develop talented people to automate our GTM processes and eliminate sales drag.
- Experience evolving / transforming two key areas: Configuration, Pricing, & Quoting (CPQ) evolutions and Channel Partner Portal Transformations.
- Experience working with portals and digital eCommerce.
What We Need From You
Salesforce CRM Strategy and Planning:
- Define the overall Salesforce CRM strategy and roadmap in alignment with business objectives and long-term goals.
- Identify opportunities to enhance the platform's functionality and efficiency, considering industry best practices.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions within the Salesforce ecosystem.
- Bring forward new innovations from Salesforce and promote them to business users such that we can leverage the new capabilities for the business.
- Manage the annual department budget including licensing costs, user count, vendor agreements, etc.
Salesforce Development and Configuration:
- Lead the design, development, and configuration of Salesforce Platform
- Ensure sound configuration of Salesforce features, including fields, objects, workflows, process automation, reports, dashboards and CPQ / DPA implementation..
- Lead technical side of the larger sprints / transformations including Partner Relationship Management and our CPQ transformation
Contractor and Team Management:
- Manage and mentor an internal technical development and administration team, providing guidance, support, and knowledge transfer.
- Create a culture of learning and career development so that folks can build strong careers and scale with the business. Managing this both locally and with offshore teams.
Platform Administration and Maintenance:
- Ensure proper development and management of user roles, profiles, permission sets, and security settings to control platform access and data visibility.
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and coordinate with technical support teams to resolve any platform-related problems.
Documentation, User Training and Support:
- Ensure there is adequate training and support to Salesforce users across the organization, ensuring they have the necessary skills to effectively utilize the platform in collaboration with the learning and development team..
- With GTM Enablement create training and documentation for users
Stakeholder Collaboration:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as Sales, Marketing, Product, Customer Experience, to understand their needs and align Salesforce functionalities accordingly.
- Engage with stakeholders to gather feedback, identify areas for improvement, and drive user adoption of Salesforce Platform.
- Focus on efficiency and streamlining existing processes, automation, and simplification of operations, enabling us to stay on our growth track.
- Manage KPI/Metrics/Dashboards.
- Manage and measure weekly status on the SFDC system including reporting on the status of KPIs around SLA achievement and sprint/ticket delivery.
