About the Role:
As the Medical Telemetry Manager, you will:
- Oversee the daily operations of a high-acuity, progressive care unit, ensuring patient-centered, quality care.
- Collaborate with your team to implement evidence-based practices that enhance patient safety, clinical outcomes, and efficiency.
- Lead initiatives to elevate patient satisfaction and deliver an exceptional patient experience.
- Manage staffing, scheduling, and resource allocation to meet patient care needs effectively.
- Mentor and develop nursing staff through ongoing feedback and professional growth opportunities.
Qualifications:
- Experience:
- 2+ years of recent acute care leadership experience (CNC, House Supervisor, or Charge RN).
- 5+ years of total RN experience.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) required; Master's degree preferred.
- Licensure: Current RN license (state or compact).
- Certifications:
- BLS certification required upon hire.
- ACLS certification required within 30 days of hire.
Unit Details:
- Unit Size: 25 beds.
- Support System: Collaborate with charge nurses, peer managers, and the Director of Acute Care.
- Team Composition: Manage a team of RNs, LPNs, PCTs, and monitor techs.
