What you will be doing

The Real Estate Law Department has an opening for a Lease Contract Analyst (Commercial Real Estate).

The position will be based in Pleasanton, CA or Boise, ID.

Main responsibilities
  • Assisting with the company's real estate lease renewal program, including review of legal files, verification of renewal letters, and tracking of portfolio critical dates in alignment with the Real Estate team's tracking
  • Assisting with strategic initiatives, including but not limited to, facilitating real estate legal support for e-commerce programs and energy programs.
  • Assisting with real estate acquisition and disposition transactions, including preparing due diligence files, reviewing settlement statements, and closing documents.
  • Preparing lease-related documents such as amendments to lease, amendments to declarations, consent waivers, etc.
  • Reviewing and interpreting leases and related real estate documents, including key lease clauses and critical dates.
  • Abstracting document information and uploading to the Company's databases and calendars.
  • Researching various documents in support of the activities of the real estate law department.
  • Participating in the creation of project-based processes.
  • Otherwise assisting Real Estate Law Dept attorneys and paralegals on an as-needed basis.

The salary range is $92,000 to $120,000 annually. Starting salary will vary based on criteria such as location, experience, and qualifications. There may be flexibility for exceptional candidates.

What we are searching for
  • 7+ years of experience working as a paralegal in a commercial real estate department of a law firm and/or corporation legal department with a concentration in commercial real estate transactions.
  • Associate or Bachelor's Degree.
  • Paralegal certificate preferred, but not required if candidate has sufficient experience.
  • Experience and working knowledge of commercial real estate law and practice, including proficient ability to comprehend and interpret complex commercial real estate leases.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills and ability to work autonomously, multi-task and prioritize.
  • Thorough and accurate.
  • Ability to multi-task and perform job duties with minimal supervision.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Proficiency in Word, Excel, and Teams in a Windows environment.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Proficiency in basic mathematical computations (e.g., pro rata calculations, date calculations).
  • Customer-service orientation.
