Salary Range: $80,000 - $85,000
The actual salary offered is dependent on various factors including, but not limited to, location, the candidate's combination of job-related knowledge, qualifications, skills, education, training, and experience.

As the Design Development Engineer - Complexity, you will be responsible for:
- Assist the thermal engineering team with managing complexity and overseeing the BOM (Bill of Materials).
- Track and maintain all component BOM metrics, including mass, cost, change level, and others.
- Collaborate with the Mexico change management team to ensure smooth coordination.
- Apply strong knowledge of the VW change management process in daily operations.
- Utilize experience with the VW Group's drawing and model release procedures.
- Work closely with the concept team to ensure that CAD, TPB, and BOM are up to date.
- Proficiently use Catia V5 to review drawings and manage the release process.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of relevant experience in thermal and HVAC hardware BOM management and engineering change processes.
- Solid understanding of component BOM metrics and their management.
- Experience with the VW Group's change management and drawing/model release procedures.
- Proficient in using Catia V5 for reviewing drawings and supporting the release process.
- Strong communication skills for collaboration with internal teams and external partners, including the Mexico change management team.
- Ability to manage and track complex systems and data in a fast-paced environment.
