Job Responsibilities:

  • Create PLC programs using ladder editor, function block diagrams, flow charts, etc. for web converting equipment and associated functions
  • Design and develop HMI applications
  • Design and review PLC network architecture
  • AC/DC drives configuration
  • Integration of Legacy drives, controls and equipment
  • Support the creation of technical product documentation and information
  • In-house testing of software and systems
  • Provide on-site assistance during system start-up and commissioning
  • Remote and on-site customer support
  • Assist Sales with pre-study analysis and reports
  • Interact with customers as required
  • Work closely with team members to complete projects and assignments
  • Other responsibilities assigned by manager

  • Awareness of ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015, EHS&S programs


Skills/Requirements:

  • BSEE or MSEE with Controls background
  • Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in engineering
  • Knowledge of AC/DC drive systems, PCs, Allen-Bradley and/or Siemens PLC
  • Previous experience with AutoCad,PLCs, AC and DC Drive systems and Supervisory control systems
  • Strong understanding of industrial controls networks
  • Web handling and converting equipment experience is preferred, but not a requirement
  • Problem solving skills
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written required
  • Strong technical aptitude and good analytical skills; organized and detail oriented
  • 40% travel is required; this includes North-America and international travel
  • Experience with the following computer related skills: Windows, Word, Excel
  • Industrial programming software such as:

  • Ladder Logic
  • Control Block Diagramming
  • HMI configuration software
  • Drives interface/programming software
