Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality preventive and therapeutic dental care to patients
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene and overall health
- Perform periodontal charting and administer treatments such as fluoride and sealants
- Take and review digital X-rays
- Work closely with the doctor and team to ensure seamless patient care
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records
- Assist in implementing office protocols to support efficiency and patient satisfaction
- Uphold infection control and OSHA compliance standards
Qualifications
- Experience: 2+ years of dental hygiene experience required
- Licensure: Active Maryland Dental Hygiene License and CPR certification
- Skills:
- Self-starter with strong attention to detail
- Leadership capabilities and ability to align with the doctor's vision
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Dentrix experience preferred (but not required)
- Professional, polished, and committed to long-term growth within the practice

Qualifications:
- Current dental hygienist license
- Excellent working knowledge of dentistry, dental hygiene procedures, dental patient screening and medical history documentation
- CPR Certification
Preferred Experience
- Experience using Velscope, Diagnodent, digital scanner, digital x-rays and electronic medical record systems
- Desire to continue learning and grow clinical skills to meet needs of patients and provide preventative care and overall maintenance of patients' dental health
- Clinical needs as required by office
- Completion of Tuberculosis (TB) testing prior to starting employment
