Job Description
Job Title: Physical Therapist - Inpatient and Outpatient Rehab
Job Specialty: Physical Therapy in Inpatient Rehab
Job Duration: 13 Weeks
Shift: Day, 5x8-Hour (08:00 - 17:00)
Guaranteed Hours: Yes, 40 hours per week
Experience: Minimum 2+ years preferred; candidates with 1 year of experience may be considered.
License: State License or Compact License required at submission
Certifications: BLS required; ACLS preferred
Must-Have: Flexibility to work both inpatient and outpatient rehab, ability to float between two facilities within 15 miles of each other
Job Description:
- Potential for full-time inpatient work with the possibility to cover outpatient rehab as needed
- Upon offer, start date will be approximately 3 weeks later to meet compliance requirements
- Weekend coverage likely, with inpatient shifts approximately once every two months
- Mileage reimbursement provided when traveling between facilities
- Open to block scheduling Monday through Friday
- Finalized requests for time off needed during submission; restrictions apply within the first two weeks and limited to no more than 10 days
- Acute care hospital setting with a total of 49 staffed beds
- Scrub color is at the discretion of the candidate, with no specific requirements
- Experience with OBix, McKesson, Pyxis, and SBAR charting systems is preferred
- Required vaccines include the flu vaccine (no exemptions allowed) but COVID-19 vaccine is not required
