We have an opening for an Entry-Level Planner. We operate within a hybrid work model, supporting flexibility between office time and work from home.

Position Summary
We are seeking an aspiring and detail-oriented Planner to join our dynamic planning team. In this role, you will support planning and design projects that emphasize equity, community engagement, sustainability, and resiliency. You will develop planning analyses, create diagrams and illustrative plans, write narratives, and contribute to deliverables including capital planning for facilities and infrastructure. As part of our integrated planning practice, you will assist in promoting our firmwide protocols and standards.

$85,000-$115,000 USD

What You Will Do:
- Support planning projects within established parameters, contributing to design and technical solutions
- Apply practice standards and our firm's Design Fundamentals to project assignments
- Collaborate with project teams and consultants, fostering effective communication and idea evaluation
- Assist with project scheduling and ensure timely delivery of project deliverables
- Analyze data and create graphics and maps to support planning efforts at various scales
- Contribute to projects that involve complex planning issues, demonstrating strong conceptual planning skills
- Participate in business development and marketing efforts as needed
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in architecture, Landscape Architecture, Planning, or a related field
- 0 to 5 years of professional experience in planning and urban design projects
- Proficiency in Revit, GIS, AutoCAD, MS Office Suite, and Adobe Creative Suite
- Strong understanding of design techniques and sustainable design principles
- Excellent written, verbal, and graphic communication skills
- Ability to coordinate and contribute to the design process effectively
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's degree in planning or urban design
- AICP; LEED AP or other green certification
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks while maintaining quality and meeting deadlines
