Description:
This Program Manager will orchestrate new vehicle programs from concept to creation - supporting the full spectrum of development and validation from early prototype builds, through start of production and ramp. They will lead vehicle firmware releases by pushing the software organization to hit aggressive milestones. This Program Manager can identify engineering inefficiencies within the organization and drive cutting-edge improvements to resolve them through the introduction of new processes or tooling. This role will support firmware rollouts to our engineering fleet, as well as the full vehicle life cycle, and working alongside a myriad of partners to support various engineering needs, such as prototype hardware retrofit campaigns, creating engineering vehicle builds, driving confidence accumulation, and more.

Responsibilities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement fleet testing and validation improvements for faster engineering design cycle iterations
- Coordinate software OTA rollout to our worldwide engineering fleet of prototype vehicles
- Facilitate engineering vehicle allocation, tracking, use, and logistics across all engineering teams worldwide
- Support defining test metrics and tracking of progress towards those metrics
- Design, develop and maintain processes for engineering vehicle lifecycles worldwide
- Create prototype vehicle build plans by partnering with engineering teams and factory build teams - strategizing how many vehicles we will build and for what use
- Identify and resolve any process or tooling issues that slow down or impede development and validation, prioritizing time and engineering efficiency
- Support quarterly global engineering fleet audits
- Coordinate prototype hardware retrofit campaigns - partnering with prototype shops to execute, ensuring part and firmware readiness
Requirements
- Experience in an engineering environment with responsibility for implementing efficient changes and streamlining processes
- Ability to be resourceful, and autonomously drive solutions in ambiguous problem spaces
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and collaboration skills
- Experience working in a fast-paced R&D environment on several different projects
- Experience with Jira, SharePoint, Confluence
- Demonstrated experience in coordinating with multiple cross functional teams
- Driven and willing to undertake great challenges, and to manage development & validation projects across a variety of programs and initiatives, often with conflicting or overlapping priorities
- Basic knowledge of engineering fundamentals and product development lifecycle

$68,000 - $150,000/annual salary + cash and stock awards + benefits
Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered.
