We are currently seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to join our finance team and play a key role in financial management.
Main Responsibilities:
Manage all accounting transactions
Prepare budget forecasts and financial statements
Prepare and analyze financial reports
Publish financial statements on time
Assist with audits and tax filings
Manage and reconcile accounts payable and receivable
Monitor financial transactions and reports for accuracy
Provide financial insights and recommendations to management
Handle monthly, quarterly, and annual closings
Prepare monthly divisional financial statements
Investigate any discrepancies and provide input on potential solutions
Review, investigate and analyze financial entries, reports, and information.
Build, maintain, and distribute monthly reports.
Prepare gross profit report and distribute semi-monthly.
Maintain documentation of Accounting processes.
Other duties as requested.
Prepare corporate and sales tax reports,
Control and file sales tax reports, T4, T4A, WSIB, ROE, PD7A remittances as required.
Requirements
Proven experience as an Accountant, preferably within the gaming or tech industry, with five or more years of experience
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field
Proficiency in QuickBooks and MS Office, especially Excel
Experience with Canada and USA accounting
Focus on achieving results, adapting to non-traditional working hours, and committing full-time.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, strong attention to detail and accuracy
