We are currently in search of a Director of Philanthropy for an International Cancer Foundation. The position is Hybrid in New York, NY. This is a full-time, permanent position.

DURATION: Permanent
SALARY RANGE: $120,000 - $150,000

Our Ideal Candidate:
- 7+ years of experience in fundraising required
- Bachelor's Degree required
- Italian language proficiency required
- Experience cultivating international partnerships and cross-cultural relationships
- Proven ability to secure 5 and 6 figure gifts
How You Will Spend Your Day:
- Build and Manage a Major Donor Portfolio: Cultivate and oversee relationships with high-net-worth individuals, foundations, and corporations passionate about cancer research and health equity.
- Develop Strategic Partnerships: Build and sustain funding partnerships in both the U.S. and Italy, securing major contributions for the organization's mission.
- Create Compelling Proposals and Reports: Write and present impactful funding proposals and donor impact reports to communicate the importance and success of the organization's work.
- Lead Annual Benefit Gala Efforts: Collaborate on the planning and execution of the organization's Annual Benefit Gala, a key fundraising event.
- Donor Recognition and Retention: Design and implement strategies to recognize and retain donors, ensuring long-term support and engagement.
- Bridge Cross-Cultural Relationships: Build strong connections within both the American and Italian philanthropic communities, utilizing your understanding of cultural nuances and business protocols.
