Salary Range: 90,000 -106,000 per year (Based on years of experience)

Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Manager of Med-Surg RN to lead our 42-bed Med/Surg unit. This role involves overseeing 57 FTEs, including Clinical Nurse Coordinators (CNCs), RNs, LPNs, and Patient Care Technicians (PCTs). The ideal candidate will ensure high-quality patient care, effective staff management, and alignment with departmental goals related to service, quality, and compliance. Our recently remodeled and upgraded unit offers an excellent opportunity for a leader with acute care experience to make a significant impact.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide clinical and operational leadership for the Med-Surg unit.
• Coordinate patient care and foster interdisciplinary collaboration to achieve optimal outcomes.
• Manage personnel, resources, and costs while maintaining high standards of care.
• Support performance improvement initiatives to enhance patient safety and satisfaction.
• Ensure compliance with organizational policies and regulatory standards.

Qualifications:

• 2-3 years of recent acute care RN leadership experience in a Supervisor or Manager role.
• Experience in adult inpatient acute care settings.
• Associate's in Nursing (ASN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required.
• Active Registered Nurse (RN) License or Advanced Nurse Practitioner License in Florida or multistate.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Willingness to obtain ACLS, PALS, and Neonatal Resuscitate certifications within 30 days of employment.

Additional Information:

• This role oversees a 42-bed Med/Surg unit with a focus on typical Med-Surg patient populations.
• Our facility is a 238-bed acute care hospital serving Bay County, offering services such as cardiac, orthopedic, stroke, and pediatric care, including a Level III NICU and Pediatric Intensive Care Unit.
• The team includes new graduate RNs, LPNs, and PCTs.
