Overview

Mercy Medical Group (MMG) , a large multi-specialty medical group in the Sacramento Region, is looking to add an experienced full-time (Monday-Friday) Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to our busy Internal Medicine Department at our Midtown Clinic in Downtown Sacramento, CA.

Compensation and Benefits:

• Annual Salary: $133,000 - $177,000 per year, Depending on experience

Candidates must have at least 2 years of experience as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant. Responsibilities

• Patient Care : Diagnose and treat medical conditions; develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans.
• Procedures: Perform surgical and non-surgical procedures; provide pre-operative and post-operative care for patients.
• Communication : Effectively communicate with patients, families, and healthcare teams; foster a collaborative approach.
• Documentation : Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with coding and billing regulations.
• Team Collaboration : Work with healthcare professionals and participate in interdisciplinary meetings.
• Quality Improvement : Engage in quality assurance initiatives and analyze clinical outcomes for improvement.
• Compliance : Adhere to ethical standards and stay informed about healthcare regulations.
• Continuous Learning : Stay updated on medical advancements and participate in ongoing education and training.

Qualifications

• A valid and unrestricted license to practice in the State of California
• Nationally recognized certification (as determined by Medicare)
• Completion of state mandated educational courses

Pay Range
$64.87 - $85.16 /hour
