The Construction Manager is responsible for building customer relationships, managing construction sites, and optimizing project performance. Primary responsibilities include planning, scheduling day-to-day site management, and overall execution with a focus on safety, quality, and cost. This role interfaces and works directly with crews, project managers, customers, and company management. This is a key role that contributes to TCE's reputation and growth by ensuring quality delivery and safe, engaged crews.

The Construction Manager is responsible for building customer relationships, managing construction sites, and optimizing project performance. Primary responsibilities include planning, scheduling day-to-day site management, and overall execution with a focus on safety, quality, and cost. This role interfaces and works directly with crews, project managers, customers, and company management. This is a key role that contributes to TCE's reputation and growth by ensuring quality delivery and safe, engaged crews.
Responsibilities and Duties:
As a Construction Manager the duties include, but are not limited to the following:
- Establish TCE presence in industry through developing new customer relationships, and strengthening existing customer relationships
- Manage each site's day-to-day activities to schedule, budget, and allocate resources (i.e., staffing, materials, vehicles)
- Proactively identify risks, develop plans to mitigate risks, and implement solutions
- Retain, engage, and develop Tower Technicians and Crew Leads through coaching, performance management, and effective conflict resolution
- Direct and complete worksite activities such as site walks, reporting, material and equipment distribution and organization, and maintenance of equipment and vehicles
- Improve and maintain quality according to requirements and specifications while promoting a continuous improvement mindset
- Complete accurately and on time daily reports, timesheets, expense reports, and close out process documents
- Ensure all safety regulations and standards are followed, including conducting safety inspections & audits and taking corrective measures as necessary
- Investigate and report all accidents/incidents to management and safety department; suggest and implement corrective actions

Requirements
Qualifications and Skills:
- Minimum of 2 years in Construction Management in Wireless Telecommunications
- Experience working on the General Contractor side and directly managing crews
- Must be professional, ethical and practice a high level of confidentiality
- Excellent interpersonal and coaching skills
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Must be able to communicate effectively in English (Read, Write, Speak)
- Bi-lingual in Spanish would be an asset
- Strong computer skills
- OSHA 30
- Comtrain Train the Trainer certified would be an asset
- Valid Driver's License with clean driving record or CDL
- Travel 75-100%
