Job Title: Registered Nurse
Job Specialty: Cardiovascular Surgery

- Cardiac, Vascular, and Thoracic Operating Room experience
- Punctuality with a 30-minute callback time
- Flexible schedule
Job Description:
- Work in a unit with three operating room suites and a staff of 11 members, including charge nurses, RNs, scrub techs, and aides or anesthesia techs.
- Participate in day shifts with a staffing pattern of one charge nurse, three to four RNs, two scrub techs, and one aide or anesthesia tech, or be part of the night shift call team with three members.
- Maintain patient ratios with three staff members per operating room.
- Operate equipment for procedures such as Open Heart, Vascular, and Thoracic surgeries.
- Use the Meditech Electronic Medical Records (EMR) system effectively.
- Perform procedures including CABG, Valves, TAVR, EVAR, TEVAR, Carotid endarterectomy, fistula creation/interventions, VATS, thoracotomy, fem-pop bypass, angiograms with interventions, LVAD, RVAD, ECMO.
- Provide Level 2 trauma coverage for all vascular and thoracic procedures.
- Exhibit a self-motivated, team-oriented, and flexible personality.
- Follow the dress code with scrubs provided and adhere to unit guidelines/policies.
- Request time off within contractual agreements.
- Fulfill call requirements of approximately one weekend a month and 2-3 days per week.
- Join a small and dedicated team with members who have been together for almost 20 years.
- Enjoy a location close to the seacoast, an hour north of a major city, and one and a half hours from the mountains.
