What you get to do:

The Manager, Financial Planning & Analysis will lead a group of corporate analysts in performing day-to-day analytical functions across PRKS. This position will routinely work with varying levels of management at both the corporate office and the parks. Working closely with the Director of Financial Planning and Analysis, this position will take a leadership role in providing business recommendations based on the analysis performed. This position will perform multiple functions to include but not limited to:
  • Responsible for leading the forecasting process across all 12 parks and corporate departments.
  • Prepare and analyze performance metrics across a portfolio of parks.
  • Maintain the Company's 5-year plan and develop models to analyze strategic business opportunities.
  • Track and report on corporate and park operating costs and help facilitate the Company's ZBB process.
  • Per cap variance review and analysis for admissions and in-park spending across the company.
  • Expense variance review and analysis.
  • Support the annual budget development process.
  • Provide analytical support for financial audits.
  • Ensure the accuracy and integrity of the Company's data and reporting sources.
  • Lead special projects and other duties as assigned.


What it takes to succeed:
  • Must have a Bachelor's degree in finance, business, economics or a related field.
  • MBA or Master's degree in finance, business or economics preferred.
  • Must have educational and professional experience in the financial analysis of multi-department revenue and cost center organizations.
  • Must have at least 5 years of relevant business experience (e.g., financial planning and analysis, cost analysis, accounting).
  • Must have strong Excel skills with the demonstrated ability to synthesize large quantities of data and use a variety of Excel tools and formulas.
  • Must have a proven ability to manage multiple projects with competing deadlines in a team environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to summarize financial information and use it for deck presentations to senior executives.
  • Demonstrated strong communication skills.
  • Must have strong analytical and computer modeling skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office.
  • Experience with SAP and Business Objects, or other data warehouse tools preferred.
  • Experience in Private Equity, Investment Banking or Transaction Services highly preferred.
  • Theme Park experience preferred.
