Job Description
This position will be a strong Finance partner for a portfolio of brands, responsible for providing analysis and recommendations to support business decisions and strategy building. This role will complete and present complex analysis, interpret financial data, and translate analytics and insights into actions. This role requires a strong cross functional partnership focus and will support a variety of business unit contacts as well as the finance department. Other responsibilities may include month end close, managing innovation product financials, marketing expense management, forecasting, and strategic planning.

The base pay range for this position is $93,960 - $131,545 annually. Actual compensation will be determined based on experience, qualifications, and other job-related factors permitted by law. This pay range represents the anticipated salary for this position at this time.

Other responsibilities may include month end close, managing innovation product financials, marketing expense management, forecasting, and strategic planning.
- Lead pro-forma P&L modeling and innovation product financials in coordination with commercialization project teams. Communicate risks and opportunities to improve project financial projections through specific and actionable guidance.
- Lead monthly forecast updates based on business changes. Prepare and present comprehensive financial analysis for leadership/business partners, including explanation of variances to forecast, plan, and prior periods.
- Translate financial analysis into meaningful and actionable insights across P&L accounts; quantify risks and opportunities to stated objectives.
- Proactively identify and communicate financial issues on a timely basis.
- Lead month end close and ensure accuracy of journal entries through active management of marketing spend aligned with Brand strategy and budget.
- Participate in completing and analyzing inputs for the annual budget process and longer-term strategic plan. Provide scenarios to model options and identify a range of possible outcomes.
- Partner with Commercial FP&A Manager and participate in finance wide projects depending on business needs.
- Model teamwork and partnership in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

- CPG Industry Experience Required
- Bachelors Degree in Accounting or Finance.
- Minimum of 5 years of related experience.
- Experience in P&L management, complex data analytics, and working across groups to complete a project or resolve a challenge.
- Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles and analytical concepts.
- Ability to build strong relationships with business partners, internal customers, and senior leaders.
- Demonstrated critical thinking skills and ability to translate analytics into meaningful insights and strategies.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel, with experience using complex functions and pivot tables.
- Knowledge of Oracle EPM and/or Tableau.
