We are looking for aSenior EDI Architect/Developer to join our team! The Senior EDI Architect/Developer is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining EDI and XML integrations for the company's transportation systems. This role requires a deep understanding of EDI standards and protocols, as well as experience with a variety of integration technologies. You will
- Design EDI/XML specs and database tables for all TMS systems.
- Develop and maintain company-wide architectural blueprints.
- Create, document, and maintain backup/recovery plans for Sterling Integrator system.
- Perform initial data analysis and review when on-boarding new TMS customers.
- Find relevant data points and create integration reports and statistics to share with management.
- Mapping in Sterling Integrator with Flex Framework
- Setup AS2, SFTP connections with trading partners as needed
- Collaborate with various teams to ensure we are meeting our business objectives and goals
- Setup electronic communication with EDI customers, financial institutions, and outside offices.
- Work in conjunction with company's customer requirements to customize and implement EDI transmission functions.
- Coordinate with Oracle programmers to integrate data transfer elements to and from EDI customers, financial institutions, vendors, and outside offices.
- Troubleshoot any and all EDI related issues.
- Setup business processes to support business needs.
- Work with TMS team to create standard EDI tables for application.
- Setup EDI related database tables and objects.
- Monitor all EDI implementations and resolve any issues.
- Communicate with EDI customers, vendors, and programmers on new implementations.
- Support EDI team by making sure all requests sent to the ticketing system are responded to in a timely manner.
- Verify DR process is working and backups are being applied in a timely manner.
- Create new EDI spec documents as necessary.
- Work together with the other members of the EDI Department as a cohesive and coordinated team.
- Accept direction from multiple team members
- Other duties as assigned by EDI manager.
