Regional Finance Sr. Manager

Purpose of Position:

This position will be responsible for the overall financial accountability of assigned Del Monte operation facilities.

Accountabilities:

• Coordinate and own month end closings and deliver financial reporting to department Controllership Director and Finance Leadership on a timely and accurate manner.
• Liaising with Coral Gables team in providing support with financial input and supports for each location
• Monitor operational performance and understand key drivers, risks and opportunities vs Budget/Fcst
• Perform financial analysis regarding business performance, with the overall objective of assisting and guiding General Managers on decision making.
• Support the locations with key weekly and monthly performance results data to track the business on day to day.
• Assist in preparation of budget, forecast and financial modeling for locations.
• Continuously monitor adherence to financial policies and procedures within assigned regions.
• Participate in inventory count process reviews and reconciliations.
• Document controls, processes and procedures related to accounting and ensure SOX compliance.
• Assist with and ensure successful quarterly and year end audits.
• Allocate effectively tasks and duties among direct reports guaranteeing timely responsiveness and business partnership.
• Assist in education and learning spread among team members and Accounting community.
• Participate and own special projects as needed (Simplification and Systems implementation projects)

Minimum Skills Required:

• SAP Experience is a MUST
• Participation in ERP Implementation is a MUST
• Experience in the Produce or similar industry.
• 4-year College Degree (Accounting, Business or similar) from an accredited institution.
• At least 5 years of prior experience in a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Programs (i.e. Word, Excel, and Outlook).
• Good analytical and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication skills (i.e. oral and written).
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced, detail-oriented and confidential environment.
