Job Title: RN Infusion
Job Specialty: RN Registered / Licensed - Outpatient
Job Duration: 13 weeks
Shift: Day (Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 4:30pm)

Experience: Minimum 2 years of nursing practice in direct patient care required
License: Registered Nurse (Single State) or RN - Multi-state Compact
Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) or BLS - Instructor
Must-Have:
- Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently
- Strong customer service and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in inter- and intra-departmental coordination of patient care
- Proficiency in IV Therapy technologies
- Delegation skills for licensed and unlicensed staff
- Ability to multi-task and function in stressful and emergency situations
- Strong detail orientation
- Computer proficiency and ability to utilize computerized devices
- Personal time management skills
- Compliance with the American Nurses Association Code of Ethics for Professional Nurses
- Knowledge and practice within the scope of licensure outlined in Georgia Registered Professional Nurse Practice Act
Job Description:
- Perform the nursing process, including assessment, diagnosis, identification of outcomes, planning, implementation, and evaluation, to deliver individualized and evidence-based clinical care.
- Provide relationship-based, patient-centered care that is consistent with population-specific characteristics and culturally diverse needs.
- Partner with the patient and significant others (as appropriate) to deliver care that is consistent with patient goals.
- Coordinate safe, quality patient care delivery and documentation, utilizing diverse and inclusive interdisciplinary communication methods.
- Demonstrate teamwork and collaboration while promoting recruitment and retention of healthcare team members.
- Participate in performance improvement initiatives, nursing research, and the utilization of evidence-based practice to promote safe, quality patient care.
- Complete all required professional competency assessments, mandatory and population-specific education.
- Serve as a preceptor or mentor for other nurses and staff to ensure a current and future qualified workforce.
- Promote evidence-based practice, nursing research, and performance improvement in nursing.
- Uphold healthcare system/organizational policies, procedures, and clinical competencies.
- Proactively plan patient care across the care continuum and participate in developing protocols and procedures.
- Support efficient and effective use of human and material resources.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
