Job Description: Senior Wireless (Wi-Fi) Instructor

Time Type: Full Time

Position Summary:

WGI is seeking a Full-Time Senior Wireless (Wi-Fi) Instructor position in the Fort Meade, MD area.

The Special Operations Forces (SOF) Targeting Training Element (STTE), in collaboration with USSOCOM, delivers advanced Signals Intelligence (SIGINT) training to SOF personnel, emphasizing tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs). This training concentrates on targeting through collection, network profiling, and analysis within the Radio Frequency spectrum to support the Find, Fix, Finish, Exploit, Analyze, and Disseminate (F3EAD) framework.

Position Responsibilities:
  • Supervise contractor staff at the team level, ensuring effective coordination with Government personnel, including reviewing all training materials prior to submission and presenting a confirmation briefing for each training activity to the Government.
  • Engage in technical workshops, conferences, design assessments, or training sessions related to technological advancements and equipment development, as directed by the Government.
  • Provide direct assistance to Government personnel and Intelligence Community (IC) Partners on initiatives involving force modernization, operational analysis, and evaluation tied to instructional content.
  • Deliver written analyses and technical assessments on the capabilities and operational potential of emerging or developing technologies, as instructed by the Government.
  • Design and distribute student feedback surveys following the completion of each course cycle.
  • Facilitate Wi-Fi training and practical exercise support for Full Mission Profile courses and activities.
  • Fulfill the responsibilities of an Intermediate Instructor when required.
  • Achieve and/or sustain Instructor Evaluator-level NSA certification in technologies specified by the Government.
  • At the Government's discretion, arrange and/or conduct certification training for contractor and Government personnel in accordance with NSA policies.

Requirements / Qualifications:
  • 8 years of experience (within last 10 years) in SIGINT Computer Network Operations collection, analysis, and reporting in a deployed SOF environment, the Intelligence Community or in support of SOF elements
  • Completed device fundamentals, networking, wireless security, and ethical hacking training (i.e. A+, SEC+, NET+, CH, etc.) equivalent courses completed.
  • Designed and maintained an organization's computer networks, servers, laptops, etc.
  • Configured and maintained network hardware and software.
  • Ensured network security and integrity.
  • Monitored network performance.2 years of experience utilizing CNO principles and operations, cellular technology, TCP/IP network traffic analysis, SQL implementation, computer programming and scripting, and 802.xx and IP-based protocols.
  • Certified in three or more of the following certifications: Any certification listed in CompTIA's most recent IT Certification Roadmap at the intermediate level or higher, A+, or Offensive Security Wireless Professional (OSWP).
  • Current or previous certification as MODE 6 Instructor, eligible on Day 1 for nomination as an Instructor Evaluator
  • Possess excellent written and oral communication/presentation skills
  • Certified Technical Trainer (CTT+) --OR-- 2 years of experience in curriculum development and implementation, podium lecturing, and classroom instruction.
  • TOP SECRET clearance and SCI eligible on Day 1 of performance
  • A counterintelligence (CI) polygraph within the last 5 years
