The Manager, Talent Acquisition is responsible for developing and executing talent acquisition strategies to attract, assess, and hire the best candidates for the company. This role requires a combination of leadership, strategy, and hands-on experience in sourcing, interviewing, and hiring candidates. The Manager, Talent Acquisition will collaborate with hiring managers across departments to meet staffing requirements, improve recruitment processes, and ensure a high-quality candidate experience.

This is a HYBRID Position that will require the resource to be in office near Hobby Airport (candidates must be local) in Houston, TX

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Talent Strategy Development: Develop and execute comprehensive recruitment strategies aligned with the company's business objectives and growth plans. Identify future hiring needs and proactively create talent pipelines. Stay current with recruitment trends and best practices to enhance the talent acquisition strategy.
- Recruitment Process Management: Oversee the full recruitment lifecycle, including job postings, candidate sourcing, interviews, offer negotiations, and onboarding. Work with hiring managers to define job requirements and qualifications. Guide hiring managers and interview panels in best practices for interviewing and selection.
- Corporate Recruitment: Handle corporate recruitment requisitions, including sourcing candidates, phone screens, coordinating interviews, generating offer letters, and initiating pre-employment processes.
- Candidate Sourcing and Attraction: Develop and maintain relationships with universities, professional organizations, and recruitment agencies. Leverage social media, job boards, and networking to attract diverse candidates. Use data-driven insights to refine and improve sourcing strategies.
- Team Leadership and Collaboration: Lead and mentor high volume recruiters for our field technician roles to ensure they meet individual and departmental goals. Provide coaching, training, and support to improve the team's recruitment capabilities. Foster a collaborative and inclusive hiring process across departments.
- Metrics and Reporting: Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs), such as time-to-fill, quality of hire, and cost-per-hire. Use recruitment data to make informed decisions and improve overall talent acquisition strategies. Present regular reports to senior leadership on hiring progress and challenges.
- Employer Branding: Contribute to employer branding efforts along with Marketing to position the company as an employer of choice. Oversee recruitment marketing campaigns and ensure they align with the company's brand values. Promote a positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment process.
- Compliance and Best Practices: Ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements during the recruitment process. Develop and enforce fair and equitable hiring practices to maintain diversity and inclusion. Continuously assess and optimize the recruiting process for efficiency and effectiveness.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Proven experience as a Talent Acquisition Manager or similar role, ideally within the Utilities or Oil & Gas industry.
- Strong knowledge of recruiting strategies, tools, and techniques.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with experience in managing a recruitment team.
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners.
- Strong understanding of labor laws and recruitment compliance.
- Proficient in using applicant tracking systems (ATS) and recruitment software, ideally Greenhouse.
- High level of organization and attention to detail.
