We're seeking a future team member for the role of Exam Remediation Manager to join our BNY Regulatory Oversight and Governance team. This role is located in Pittsburgh, PA or Lake Mary, FL in a Hybrid work environment.

In this role, you'll make an impact in the following ways:
  • Assisting in regulatory exam/ meeting preparation including creation and review of materials
  • Supporting response process to address regulatory issues - managing meetings, maintaining response documentation and following up with relevant first, second and third lines of defense
  • Responsible for oversight, challenge and escalation of issues on a portfolio of ongoing regulatory projects
  • Ensuring adherence to set reporting and governance standards, providing challenge or additional guidance as required
  • Participating in relevant stakeholder/ business line working groups
  • Exercising autonomy in troubleshooting a diverse range of sometimes complex issues as they arise
  • Review and challenge of project evidence
  • Collaborating and communicating with internal and external contacts, including senior management and regulatory bodies
  • Performing advanced, diversified and sometimes confidential administrative duties related to regulatory exams or findings requiring broad and comprehensive experience, skill and knowledge of organizational policies and procedures

To be successful in this role, we're seeking the following:
  • Bachelor's degree in a related discipline or equivalent combination of education and experience required
  • 7-10 years of total work experience in financial services or business partner function preferred
  • Strong organizational, interpersonal, influencing and communications skills- Ability to tailor the message to the audience is key
  • Strong drafting, Powerpoint and Analytics skills required
  • Knowledge of regulatory lifecycle or prior regulatory interaction background preferred but not required
  • Ability to effectively prioritize competing requests and switch focus as needed

The base salary if hired will be determined on an individualized basis, including as to experience and market location, and is only part of the BNYM total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, discretionary bonuses, short and long-term incentive packages, and Company-sponsored benefit programs.
