About the Team & Business Line:

The Transformation Office Process Design team aims to improve quality and efficiency across Citco Fund Services (CFS) through a combination of process re-design and process deep dives to help transform our organizations processes. We conduct quantitative and qualitative analyses on business operations to identify improvement opportunities and implement solutions through workshops, analysis and technology expertise.

Our team, a subgroup of the Transformation Office, is tasked with project and workshop execution, challenging processes and identifying global change, and reporting to Transformation Office and Business executive teams. In addition to leading the execution of key strategic initiatives, we are commonly expected to facilitate conversation, conduct analyses, and produce succinct reporting to senior management.

Responsibilities

Your Role:

The Transformation Office is looking for an experienced Business Process Design Vice President to (a) understand relevant business objectives and processes; (b) move projects forward within a Design Thinking and/or DMAIC framework; (c) upskill Citco staff on different problem solving and process improvement approaches, tools and techniques; (d) lead introduction of design led thinking into our department and project approaches ; and (e) help define standard execution playbooks for our team of process managers to create consistent outputs on our engagements depending on size

We are seeking an experienced and accomplished leader to support our organization's process excellence and user experience initiatives. You will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to improve operational efficiency, reduce waste, and enhance user satisfaction by growing our community of practice, upskilling our staff and leading initiatives as needed. This leader will leverage their expertise in Design Thinking and relevant approaches to help lead the transformation of processes across our organization.

The Process Design Vice President will be part of the Transformation Office team under the direction of our Process Transformation team Leadership. They should be comfortable communicating with all levels within the organization, carrying out detailed work (leading engagements, facilitating workshops, managing staff, creating frameworks, driving change) and be both flexible and hardworking.

As a core member of our Transformation Office, you will be working with some of the industry's most accomplished professionals to deliver the most effective and efficient solutions for our clients and our business globally.

Qualifications

About You:
  • 6+ years of experience in a process excellence type role, including process improvement and business process design
  • 2+ years of experience in a strategic or program type role related to process excellence and process optimization
  • Leading process workshops focused on documenting current state, challenging the process and designing a desired optimal target state
  • Facilitating workshops focused on both understanding and solving complex problems by leveraging the industries top methodologies
  • Driving, implementing and sustaining change
  • Experience interacting with a CRM / Workflow tool to support process designs
  • Presenting information succinctly to senior leadership across the organization
  • Delivering operational excellence initiatives, with demonstrated results in process improvement, cost savings, and customer satisfaction
  • Performing detailed analysis and assessments of operational value streams to identify
  • Misalignment to standard processes
  • Gaps across workflow that impact the compliance and optimization of tools and systems
  • Touchpoints and manual intervention that impacts straight through processing
  • Opportunities to improve system functionality or identify new systems to introduce to our suite
  • Introducing Intelligent Automation technologies into processes (you can't automate a broken process)
  • Technology
  • Excellent MS Suite skills (Excel, PowerPoint, Visio and Outlook)
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards related to operational excellence
  • Experience in Figjam or other design type applications is a plus
  • Competence with SharePoint/Power BI preferred, but not required.
  • Familiar with use cases of Intelligent Automation technologies (RPA, Gen AI, NLP, ML) and UI Path
  • You're adaptable, pro-active, open, and collaborative in your approach to working with others
  • You're conversant in organizational structure and interested in how operational components contribute to an end product
  • You're comfortable with leading projects alone or leading with others
  • You're experienced in mentoring and growing yourself and along with others continuously
  • You have experience in the financial / investment sector
  • You're experienced in managing people (directly or indirectly)
  • You're able to distill key ideas from larger, less organized information sets and are able to simplify complex problems into more digestible ones
  • You're experienced in supporting the creation and execution on benefit valuation / frameworks and strategic planning
  • Experience with a market leading CRM tool is a considered an asset
  • Experience using a process management and transformation suite (i.e. Business Optix)
  • Lean Six Sigma (Green Belt+), Design Thinking Certification (Program or Masters) are recommended, along with relevant work experience
  • Project Management (PMP or CAPM), Scrum Management (CSM), Change Management (CCMP) or Client Experience certification(s) are considered an asset but not required
