Description:
The Talent Acquisition Manager is responsible for full cycle recruiting: sourcing, attracting, screening/interviewing, assessing, and presenting qualified candidates to hiring managers to promote a positive candidate experience and support recruiting and talent initiatives. The Talent Acquisition Manager will also establish relationships with passive candidates, universities, alumni groups, and industry groups in accordance with all applicable laws and regulations.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Manage talent acquisition team of 6.
Manage the start-to-finish recruitment process for assigned positions utilizing the applicant tracking system (ATS) (e.g., posting requisitions, managing candidate activities and workflows, scheduling/coordinating interviews, screening applicants, verifying employment eligibility requirements, etc.)
Promote a positive candidate experience including staying in close contact with candidates (e.g., phone calls, emails, etc.).
Ensure timely candidate feedback, including conducting follow-up calls/surveys
Utilize effective sourcing strategies to find and attract passive candidates and build a depth of talent pipelines and pools for assigned positions
Establish professional networks for future talent
Leverage and link to other external job board service providers and partners as appropriate (e.g., Indeed Direct, ZipRecruiter, community postings, notifications to local schools, etc.)
Collaborate with hiring managers on effective screening and selection techniques
Ensure timely candidate feedback; and strive to create a positive candidate experience, including conducting follow-up calls/surveys
Exhibit excellent customer service and a positive attitude
Communicate and collaborate productively within an interdisciplinary team
This is a hybrid role located in Grand Rapids, MI. The schedule is 2 days on-site and 3 days WFH each week. In-person reporting will be required 3+ days per week for a training period of no longer than 30 days.
Basic Qualifications/Skills
Bachelor's degree
Ten years talent acquisition experience
Minimum 5 years managing teams
Demonstrated experience with high volume hard to fill roles
Demonstrated sourcing experience (e.g., Indeed, LinkedIn Recruiter)
Demonstrated experience recruiting passive candidates
Experience with applicant tracking systems or CRM tools
Preferred Qualifications/Skills
Two years experience in outpatient physical therapy
Experience recruiting healthcare clinicians; physical and occupational therapists
Recruiter certification (PRC, CIR, CSSR, CDR, CSMR, etc.)
Experience with Paycor ATS
Experience managing and analyzing advertising spend for maximum effectiveness
