Position Summary
The Manager, Technology Programs will be responsible for managing the Technology team's hardware and software programs and projects. Projects include custom software development supporting applications and integrations, vendor projects, and hardware programs related to EV chargers, payment devices and related firmware. The Manager, Technology Programs defines structure and process around our project and program management methodologies, ensuring timelines, quality standards and budgets are met. This role also serves as the primary relationship manager with vehicle OEM's as part of our technical program leadership. The Manager, Technology Program Management is planned to have one direct report, in addition to managing consultants and vendors within our product ecosystem. They will be a critical member of the Technology team, ensuring that the IONNA is delivering a best-in-class customer experience and industry-leading uptime.
Key Performance Indicators for this role are Delivering Projects within Agreed upon Timeframes, within Budget, and On Scope.

Responsibilities
- Establishes the program and project management frameworks across the Technology team.
- Creates processes to support frameworks and ensure positive project outcomes.
- Manage delivery of key hardware and software initiatives through appropriate project management and software development methodologies.
- Manage projects to deliver projects within approved costs and agreed upon timelines.
- Follow generally accepted project management principles to advance technical and complex initiatives
- Lead end users to develop and execute test scripts to validate performance and scope of projects and gain sign off.
- Work closely with Hardware and Software leads to ensure validation methodology of different components of the IONNA technology stack are comprehensive including all potential edge cases.
- Maintain an in-depth understanding of the latest developments in EV charger technology, staying current with industry trends and advancements
- Review finalized test reports and results that can be used by the broader teams to make final decisions with respect to partner selection and other critical business decisions
- Collaborate with other engineering team members, Operations and Product teams to ensure successful integration of components at OEM charging sites
- Manage direct reports to ensure project goals are met.
- Lead efforts with automotive OEMs on establishing and maintaining our joint roadmaps, projects and vehicle integration to the IONNA ecosystem
- Other duties as assigned
Skills and Experience
- A minimum of 5 years of experience with charging technology
- 7+ years of increasingly complex project management
- 5+ years of experience within the vehicle OEM space
- Detailed understanding of the current public fast charging landscape
- Expert level knowledge of Confluence and Jira
- Demonstrated expertise in software engineering project management methodologies, including Agile, Kanban and Waterfall.
- 5+ years experience of management experience
- Exceptional communication and project management skills to effectively progress discussions with important stakeholders. Relentless follow up is a must.
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Engineering
