Position Summary:
As a Project Lead, you will be responsible for leading Special Projects designated within the Service Operations area (Special Projects or TM). Special Projects and TM are considered Blade Inspections/Repairs Campaigns, Retrofits Campaigns, or even Large Components Repairs campaigns.

Responsibilities:
  • Assists in the project execution of special projects within the Services department.
  • Maintain Project Schedule(s).
  • Schedules necessary Inspection campaigns and process the findings.
  • Assists in the coordination of blade/large components repair campaigns based on findings.
  • Complies with a defined schedule.
  • Performs quality control audits.
  • Assists in the management of project costs including monitoring and validating contractor timesheets.
  • Assists in the coordination and supervision of manpower and resources on-site for project activities.
  • Communicates project status to Management to facilitate customer communications.
  • Generates and presents periodic reports to the Management team.
  • Coordinates and implements technical solutions (retrofits) in cooperation with the Engineering and Technical Services departments.
  • Follows standard Nordex Project Management processes.
  • Performs pertinent operational and departmental tasks as required.
  • Performs other duties as assigned by the Supervisor.


Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in technical or engineering field preferred but will consider relevant work experience instead of a degree.
  • PMP certification desirable.
  • Minimum of 2-3 years in project management, project lead, or other management capacities, especially within the renewable energy or construction industry preferred.
  • Proven relevant experience managing, leading, and/or coordinating several activities/projects at once (preferably within the Wind Industry or similar industry).
  • Ability to plan, organize and execute projects, meet deadlines, prepare reports.
  • Experience with the coordination of resources including subcontractors (internationally and domestically).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, and professionalism.
  • Travel to project sites as required (>75% travel).
  • Must meet the weight requirement 120kg (265 lbs.) or less to safely utilize climbing equipment and climbing gear.
  • Must be able to work in Canada with no Company sponsorship and have the ability to obtain a US passport.
  • Driving is an essential function of the job. Must possess a full valid driver's license and be insurable under our auto insurance policy. This position will be subject to periodic driver's abstract checks to confirm continued insurability.
  • Ability to successfully complete all Canadian regulatory laws surrounding pre-employment screening requirements.


The pay for this role is exempt $112,000.00 CAD- $30,000.00 CAD annually with up to a 10% bonus. Individual compensation packages are based on various factors unique to each candidate, including skill set, experience, qualifications, and other job-related reasons.

Responsabilits :
  • Aide l'excution de projets spciaux au sein du dpartement des services.
  • Maintient le ou les calendriers du projet.
  • Planifie les campagnes d'inspection ncessaires et traite les rsultats.
  • Aide la coordination des campagnes de rparation de pales/gros composants en fonction des rsultats.
  • Respecte un calendrier dfini.
  • Effectue des audits de contrle qualit.
  • Aide la gestion des cots du projet, y compris le suivi et la validation des feuilles de temps des entrepreneurs.
  • Aide la coordination et la supervision de la main-d'uvre et des ressources sur place pour les activits du projet.
  • Communique l'tat du projet la direction pour faciliter les communications avec les clients.
  • Gnre et prsente des rapports priodiques l'quipe de direction.
  • Coordonne et met en uvre des solutions techniques (rnovations) en coopration avec les services d'ingnierie et de services techniques.
  • Suit les processus de gestion de projet Nordex standard.
  • Effectue les tches oprationnelles et dpartementales pertinentes selon les besoins.
  • Effectue d'autres tches assignes par le superviseur.


Exigences :
  • Baccalaurat dans le domaine technique ou de l'ingnierie prfr, mais une exprience professionnelle pertinente sera prise en compte plutt qu'un diplme.
  • Certification PMP souhaitable.
  • Minimum de 2 3 ans en gestion de projet, chef de projet ou autres capacits de gestion, en particulier dans le secteur des nergies renouvelables ou de la construction, de prfrence.
  • Exprience pertinente avre dans la gestion, la direction et/ou la coordination de plusieurs activits/projets la fois (de prfrence dans l'industrie olienne ou un secteur similaire).
  • Capacit planifier, organiser et excuter des projets, respecter les dlais, prparer des rapports.
  • Exprience de la coordination des ressources, y compris des sous-traitants (au niveau international et national).
  • Excellentes comptences en communication crite et verbale.
  • Excellentes comptences organisationnelles, y compris l'attention aux dtails et le multitche.
  • Excellentes comptences interpersonnelles et professionnalisme.
  • Dplacements sur les sites de projets selon les besoins (> 75 % des dplacements).
  • Doit respecter l'exigence de poids de 120 kg (265 lb) ou moins pour utiliser en toute scurit l'quipement et le matriel d'escalade.
  • Doit pouvoir travailler au Canada sans parrainage de l'entreprise et avoir la capacit d'obtenir un passeport amricain. La conduite est une fonction essentielle du poste.
  • Doit possder un permis de conduire complet et valide et tre assurable en vertu de notre police d'assurance automobile.
  • Ce poste sera soumis des vrifications priodiques du dossier de conduite pour confirmer l'assurabilit continue.
