ECS is seeking an Information/Content Manager to work in our Fairfax, VA office.

ECS is seeking talented professionals to join our successful and growing team in building the next-generation Continuous Diagnostics and Mitigation (CDM) Cyber data solution. The CDM Program is the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency's (CISA) dynamic approach to strengthening the cybersecurity of Federal networks and systems through better awareness and visibility into their security posture and cyber threats. ECS is responsible for designing, building, deploying, operating, and maintaining a complete 'Data Services' solution which includes the collection, normalization, visualization, and sharing of cyber data from more than 100 Federal agencies. The CDM Data Services product is an integrated suite of multiple Commercial Off the Shelf (COTS) products, software configuration packages, and custom code which work together to operate as an integrated solution tailored to meet Department of Homeland Security (DHS) requirements.

ECS is looking for a forward-thinking and self-motivated Content Manager to focus on enhancing content for the Department of Homeland Security's (DHS) Continuous Diagnostics and Mitigation (CDM) Dashboard Ecosystem Program. This exciting role requires curiosity, creativity, and critical thinking skills, as well as superior attention to detail, great organizational skills, and the ability to work in a highly collaborative work environment. The Content Manager will focus on proposing new content development opportunities and collaborating with engineering and special initiatives' team members to tune existing content and create and enhance marketing materials.

Content Strategy: Develop and implement a comprehensive content strategy that aligns with the program's goals and target audience.

Content Creation: Produce high-quality content, including blog posts, articles, social media posts, newsletters, whitepapers, and other marketing materials.

Content Management: Oversee the content calendar, ensuring timely and consistent delivery of content across all platforms.

Analytics and Reporting: Track and analyze the performance of content initiatives, using data-driven insights to refine strategies and improve outcomes.

Customer Experience Integration: Research input from customer feedback and UX research to identify opportunities for new content.

Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, design, product, and sales, to ensure cohesive messaging and brand consistency.

Audience Engagement: Engage with our audience through various channels, responding to comments and messages, and fostering a community around our brand.

Content Governance: Maintain and enforce content standards, guidelines, and best practices to ensure high-quality and on-brand content.

  • US citizenship and ability to acquire Public Trust Suitability
  • 5+ years of experience as a content specialist / editor, working with minimal supervision to coordinate across functional and technical teams to produce quality content
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills that include the ability to describe highly technical concepts in non-technical terms.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, effective organization skills, problem solving ability, attention to detail, and strong work ethic that is proactive and self-motivated.
  • Ability to manage, analyze, and report complex data in an easy-to-understand format for a variety of stakeholders
  • Must be flexible and thrive in an evolving environment.
  • Experience handling multiple tasks, changing priorities, and timely action
