Job Summary
We are seeking a Nurse Practitioner to join our dynamic and expanding program. This NP will be based in our outpatient infusion center and clinic and will collaborate in the care of patients being evaluated, diagnosed, and treated for hematologic malignancies as well as those undergoing cellular therapies.
The final salary and offer components are subject to additional approvals based on UC policy.
Your placement within the salary range is dependent on a number of factors including your work experience and internal equity within this position classification at UCSF. For positions that are represented by a labor union, placement within the salary range will be guided by the rules in the collective bargaining agreement.
The salary range for this position is $100.48 - $130.31 (Hourly Rate).

Required Qualifications
NP1
- Minimum of two years RN experience in a hematology or oncology specialty.
- Demonstrated competence in the following areas: clinical practice, communication, clinical case management, leadership, problem identification/resolution, and teaching.
- Flexibility to orient and work at all UCSF Medical Center locations
NP2
- Two (2) years of experience as an NP and/or completion of an Oncology Fellowship for APPs within the last year.
- Demonstrated competence in the following areas: clinical practice, communication, clinical case management, leadership, problem identification/resolution, and teaching.
- Flexibility to orient and work at all UCSF Medical Center locations
License/Certification
- California driver's license (CDL) if required for position
- Must hold current national certification from an accepted certifying agency and provide by first day of work.
- Accepted Certifications for this position: AGNP-C, ANP-C, FNP-C, GNP-C, AGPCNP-BC, ACNP-BC, ANP-BC, FNP-BC, GNP-BC, ACNPC-AG, ACNPC
- Must hold a current and active RN and NP and Furnishing license in California.
Must have completed a BRN recognized graduate master's degree program as a nurse practitioner. - Must obtain an active and/or transferable DEA license to California and provide evidence by 90th day of clinical practice. (It is the responsibility of the employee to transfer their DEA license to their new place of employment if from out of state, via online DEA portal and provide evidence of transfer).
- Must have submitted enrollment with CMS Medicare and Medicaid through credentialing by first clinical day. CCS enrollment as appropriate for pediatric environments.
Must hold current AHA BLS as minimum requirement - State regulation requires that you have a supervising physician to practice
Incumbents with less than 6 months of NP experience will be hired as a Nurse Practitioner 1
